Contra Costa Crisis Center
Our mission is to keep people alive and safe, help them through crises, and connect them with culturally relevant resources in the community. The Contra Costa Crisis Center is a nonprofit agency that provides 24-hour crisis intervention, suicide prevention, grief support, and 211 information and referral services in Contra Costa County, California. The Center manages ten thousand calls and spends 60,000-80,000 minutes on the phones monthly.
The Contra Costa Crisis Center is committed to provide free 24/7 services to everyone in need. Our center meets the “gold seal” standard of service as it is nationally certified by the American Association of Suicidology.
